Each image begins with a place—mist over water, a weathered path, an open horizon, stone warmed by morning light. Yet these landscapes are not offered as destinations. They are invitations into different ways of attending to the world. The outer landscape becomes a mirror for an inner one.

Across cultures and centuries, philosophers, poets, painters, and architects have understood that place carries meaning beyond geography.
